Founded in 1675 (Enpō 3), it is known as one of the representative breweries of the Saijō area. The name, meaning “white peony,” symbolizes purity and elegance, reflected in its refined aroma and mellow flavor. From ginjō to junmai varieties, Hakubotan offers a wide lineup that blends traditional craftsmanship with modern sensibilities. It is also one of the most popular brands featured at the annual Saijō Sake Festival.
